Lorenza Hamm for 11 years a resident of this city died at Culver Union Hospital at 8:30 o'clock this morning following an operation for goitre on Friday. Mr. Hamm had been in ill health for three months and was in a very weak condition when removed to the hospital.  He was well known to a large number of the citizens for years, he conducted a barber shop and pool room on east Main Street and a year or more ago opened a pool room and cigar stand on north Washington street.  Mr. Hamm was born May 9, 1879 near Wallace and was the son of Felix and Jane Keller Hamm.  He married Miss Bessie Earl in 1902, He is survived by his wife, two sons, Paul and Russell 16 and 18 years respectively, a daughter, Miss Helen 13 years old and brother brothers, Austin Hamm who conducts a barber shop in the east end and Lonnie Hamm who resides about four miles south of Crawfordsville.  The funeral will be held from the residence, 606 Union Street at 1 (smudged) o'clock Monday afternoon Rev. Cornelius L. Airhart will officiate and interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. The pall bearers will be selected from members of the Moose of which he was a member. - kbz
